Happy St. Patty's Day

We made a special snap for Bradley's class in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
We started with some green jello...

add a little cool whip...

set a green peep and some sprinkles on top...

finish it off with a couple of chocolate coins.
The kids were very excited about the chocolate coins and peeps.
We hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day!

Visitors From Texas

Andy's parents and sister came to visit us.  Eliza was fascinated with Baby Alina.

Andy, Grandma and girls

Aunt Lily has a really cool camera with fun settings.

Alina spending some one on one time with her favorite Uncle Andy.

The kids before church.

Eliza eating popcorn Sunday evening.

It was spring break for UNC and Duke while they were here, so we didn't run into very many people when we drove through each campus.  This is the cathedral at Duke University.

Both universities are very beautiful.

Grandpa supervising the kids.
Since we had some nice weather we played outside a lot.

Eliza with our air rocket launcher.

We don't have apricot trees, but it does look like we have popcorn on our trees!

A look at our street.

"Really Mom?!"
I had to lay on the ground to get a picture of the blossoms behind her.  She thought I was being crazy!

"Cheese!"

Bradley is a ham.

What a sweet boy!

Daniel practicing on his big boy bike.
He is still a little nervous about riding on uneven surfaces.

When Lily called to say she was coming to visit too we went to get matching outfits.
(I am not sure why it left the picture sideways!)

We made matching hair bows for the girls.
It was so fun to have another girl to make hair bows/flowers for.

We dropped the boys and Grandpa off at the park and then the girls went to do some  shopping.  When we went back to get the boys we were one seat short, so Grandma volunteered to sit in back.  The boys thought it was very silly to have someone in the"trunk!"

"It's alright Alina, I will fix it."

We love Grandpa!

We took Grandpa to see some of the historic sites in the area, but mostly we enjoyed visiting with Aunt Lily and our grandparents.  Andy's mom got up at 4am almost every morning to make breakfast for him and visit with him before he had to go to work.  He enjoyed the extra attention, but I reminded him that he shouldn't get use to it.  :)  We are so glad they came to see us and want to especially thank Uncle Matt for letting Lily and Baby Alina come!  Hope to see all y'all again soon!

Another Warm Spell

Eliana and Eliza
We have had a lot of spring weather lately.  We love to play in the cul-de-sac with our neighbors.

Daniel playing kickball.

Bradley was the photographer for the day.

Eliana's cat doesn't like kicks very much so Bradley had to sneak up on it to get some pictures...

I Hope They Call Me On A Mission...

Bradley, Ethan, Daniel and Nick
We have some great home teachers.  In Feb. the Home Teaching message was about preparing to serve a mission.  Ethan brought two of his old mission ties for the boys.  They were very excited.  He also let the kids check out his new i Pad to see where they wanted to go on their missions.
Thanks guys!  You're the best!
