Easter Sunday and Harp Lesson

On  Easter Sunday we went to church with Aunt Malea and Uncle Colton.  They are in the same ward we were in 8 years ago.  It was fun to see friends that were still there.  After church we went to have lunch with Aunt Malea.

Eliza making her own card.

Josh loves his sister.

Aunt Malea finishing Grandpa's retirement card.
Nathan gave it a try too.
Bradley and Daniel playing chess with Aunt Malea's cool chess set.

Then we headed to Aunt Lily's house for Easter dinner.  We also did an Easter Egg hunt after dinner.
Let the hunting begin.

We talked Aunt Malea into playing the harp for us.  Then she gave Eliza a short lesson.

Getting ready................and giving it a try.

Eliza has decided that she needs to play the harp too.  Thanks Aunt Mia for the lesson!

Blue Bonnetts

After having lunch with some friends that moved from Biloxi to San Antonio we found a field of blue bonnets.  I wish the kids had on matching clothes, but they turned out cute any way.

The Potter Palace!

March 26, 2016
After arriving at Aunt Malea's house we broke it in with a stinky diaper! It was pretty bad, but Josh was a good sport about it. ;)

They were painting the ceiling in the kitchen and the kids wanted to help.  Uncle Colton was very good to supervise.

Daniel giving it a go.

Colton demonstrates and then Bradley tries.

Bradley did a pretty good job.

Nathan decided he wanted to try too.  Since he was too short Uncle Colton lifted him up on his shoulders.  Nathan got a little nervous!

Nathan held on really tight!  Poor Uncle Colton got strangled!
He is still a pretty good painter even when he is being choked.
When Nathan got down he said, "Wow! It was a little scary up there!"

Aunt Janna asked for a kissing picture out front when they first told us they were buying a house.  We never saw one, so I made them go out front to get one.

I couldn't get the angle quite right so I kept saying, "Do it again!"

This is the front room just inside the front door.

Looking into the kitchen.
The doorway on the left goes into the laundry room.

The garage is just off the kitchen to the right.

Their cute little back yard.
They have citrus trees behind them.

Josh supervising from his seat.

Heading upstairs.  They took the carpet out of the whole house.

I believe this is Megan's room.

And the guest bathroom.  I like this set up!  You can shower and take care of business at the same time. :)

This is the second guest room at the front of the house.

Eliza thought the little alcove behind Aunt Malea would be perfect for a doggy bed.

Aunt Malea's tulips were starting to blossom.
