They have enough to play an "a" team and a "b" team.  They get to play a quarter and then rest.

Bradley started out playing goalie for his second game.

He stopped quite a few balls...

however, one did get past!

Stopping another ball.

Bradley's team is smaller than Daniel's team, so they get to play more positions and more often.

I don't remember the final score for Bradley's game.  He has a lot of fun playing and looks forward to it every week!

Science Fair

Bradley's science fair was due on Jan. 26, 2015.
He worked a lot with Daniel and Dad to get it ready.  They made an electromagnet.  They were testing to see which would make a stronger magnet, more coils or bigger battery?

Here he is testing one of his bolts to see how many bb's it would pick up.
They us 6 volt and 9 volt batteries and tested coils of 10, 20, 30 and 40.

Daniel helped him count out the number of bb's.
They repeated the test 6 times with each battery and bolt combo.

Daniel and Bradley

The results were, more coils and bigger battery makes the strongest magnet!
After getting all the stats for the experiment they decided to test a really big battery.  They hooked one of the bolts up to the car battery.  It was too strong!  It melted the wires.  :0)

Bradley with his board.

He enjoyed all the experimenting and showing it to the judges.

These last ones are just random pictures of my foot after Nathan smooshed it with his heal.
It was painful!

You can see that I need the crazy nail lady to come attack my toes.  They need a new paint job!

First Soccer Game

Jan. 24, 2015
Our first official soccer games!
Bradley and Daniel are playing soccer this year.  They both have great coaches and are learning a lot.
Daniel is in the 5-7 year old group.  Bradley is in the 8-10 year old group.

Daniel playing goalie.

Bradley, Nathan and Eliza
It was pretty cold and Bradley didn't bring a jacket.  I let him use one of mine.

Daniel's team, The Magics, won their first game 5-0.

Daniel has been doing great!

Teams giving high fives!

Daniel's soccer games are at 10 am on Saturdays.

Bradley's games are 11 am on Saturdays.  The fields are right next to each other, so we don't have to go anywhere.  It is great!  Bradley is in his element on the field!

Bradley played defense during his first game.  He loved to make the calls along with the refs.

He got excited about the goals his team made!
I believe they tied their first game 2-2.

This is our neighbor, Delaney.
Her brother Mason and Bradley are both on the same team.

Mason is the goalie and Bradley is #2.

Bradley getting the ball headed down the field.

Mason getting ready to protect the goal.

Goalie kick!
They kept telling Mason to throw it in.  The first time he tried he hit Bradley smack in the back of the head.  It was pretty awesome!  After than he just kicked.  That boy can boot the ball!

Our neighbors trying to keep warm during Mason and Bradley's game.
Heather, Cohen and Bennett.

Bradley's coaches, The Lethcos
They are in our ward.  They do great with the kids!
