Smith's Spring Break!

March 13-17, 2016
Our Smith cousins came to visit us for their spring break.  Unfortunately it wasn't the same time as ours, but we had fun anyway!

Caden drew me this pig picture.  It says "Just try me!"

While they were here we visited the Biloxi visitor center.  They have some cool displays inside.

The Biloxi Lighthouse.

Replica of the lighthouse.

We walked out on the pier in front of the light house.  It was bright beautiful day.

Me, Nathan, Eliza, Caden, Ammon, Taylor and Abby
Josh and Sam were in strollers out of sight.

We walked a long the beach a little ways.

Then we had to go over to Shark Heads.  They have a lot of fun stuff in there!

They have some really fun things to get pictures with outside of Shark Heads.

Ride 'em Abby!

"Getting eaten by the giant shark" pictures are always our favorite.

Caden getting eaten...Nathan and Eliza mounting an attack to retrieve him.

Dolphin riding is a popular sport. :)

Ammon coming to help him.

Mean while Abby was getting eaten.

We had to make a few pies in honor of Pie Day.  Janna made some tiny pies.  They were so fun and cute!

And did I mention tasty!

Sam is getting so big!  He has the most darling smile.

Eliza and Abby with their twinner PJ's.

Sam, Josh and I
These two were so fun to snuggle!

We also took our cousins on a tour of base and stopped at the BX to do a little shopping.

WE couldn't stop at the BX without stopping at Game Stop.

Even Josh liked it.

Unfortunately our pool wasn't open yet.  We let the kids play in the sprinkler though.

Josh sat and watched the kids play really well.

We heard there was some $1 games at the bowling alley on base so we went to check it out one day.

We let Daniel and Bradley sluff one day while our cousins were here.

We had some good bowling going on with this group.

Aunt Janna captured the different techniques used while bowling.

This was Nathan's first time bowling!  He was excited!!

We also spent time just hanging out with our cousins at home.

We even let Aunt Janna take a short nap.

Abby and Eliza got their toes painted like twinners.

After waiting for almost an hour our cousins were able to see our little bat come out of the pole.
I should have paid closer attention to when he actually came out...then we wouldn't have had to wait for so long.  We did enjoy a Popsicle while we waited.  It was so much fun to have them come.
Andrew stayed home with Uncle Scott and in his absence he was over thrown as favorite cousin.
Caden asked Nathan before they left who his favorite cousin was.  Nathan answered, "Taylor."  :)
