Spring Time in the Park!

There is a little park about a block and a half from our house. The boys really enjoy going there as often as we can. Great bike weather!

Riding bikes with Dad is the most fun!

Bradley's turn!

These are some of the coolest phones ever!

"It's me again Margeret!"

Ahh..Ohh! These wood chips are dirty. That's better!

Cousins, Friends & Dough!

The high light of every week is when we get to play with our cousins! We have been so blessed to have great family and friends here in California. We had a play date with our cousins and Aiden, he is one of our favorite friends!

Aiden, Bradley & Daniel
Seth & Jake
Baby Ben is Daniel's favorite!

The best part of play dates is jumping on the bed!!! It was a little bit rough for Aiden, so he isn't in the pictures. Either that or he had more manners that we do!!

Ben was too small for all the rough housing so he stuck with the balloon.

Dough, dough & more Dough!
We are becoming experts on what works well with the play dough and what doesn't! Sully and the Abominable Snow Man, from Monster's Inc., make great tracks!

Army men and their air support are essential!
Farm animals are also at home in play dough. However the best thing of all is the rolling out of the play dough. We have a very special demonstration of rolling out the "dough boy"!

First find a sturdy flat surface and roll away from your body.
Flip over and start and the end closest to you and roll with the grain away from your body!

Peanut Butter Mustache!

We were eating lunch and Bradley said, "Look Mom." This is what I saw. I guess he can't wait until he has a little facial hair to shave like Dad!

Job Charts

In an attempt to help Bradley get into a routine in the mornings we have created a job chart. This way there are some very specific things he must do to get ready for the day...like get dressed, brush your teeth, make your bed, etc... He has really enjoyed being able to put the chore cards into the train when he completes them. He was so excited about his train chart that we had to do one for Daniel too. Daniel's is my favorite, but hey its because I got better as I went!

It is amazing how fast and willing they are to pick up their dirty clothes and toys now! I hope that the fascination with the chart doesn't where off too soon.

Daniel Chillin'

Daniel is our cuddle king! He can get comfy almost anywhere. Since we have had more rain recently he has watched a couple more movies than usual. Here he was just lounging. I thought he was asleep when I came in after exercising because he was holding so still for so long. In reality he was just very comfortable.

Here he is snuggling with his Dad. He loves to smoother us with loves and snuggles. Often in the morning he will come climb into bed with me and snuggle for about 10-15 minutes before he asks for breakfast. If he every snuggles you with his head, then you know you have gained favorite status in his eyes. (Head snuggles consist of him pushing his head against yours. This can be a little uncomfortable at times and I am not sure where he gets it from, but it is just his way of showing love!!)

Bread, Play Dough & Grandpa

Recently our stake reorganized the ward boundaries, so now we are in the Fairfield 1st ward. The week after we had a linger longer after church so we could get to know each other better. Everything was suppose to be finger food so we make banana bread. Daniel and Bradley help me the whole time.

Daniel ran the beaters and Bradley helped put in the ingredients and smash the bananas. They had a lot of fun and it was nice to have a little help.

Bradley is in a play dough phase. He wants to play with it all the time. His favorite is when Dad plays with him. They come up with all kinds of cool things...like The Mask! It looks kind of cute on Bradley, but it looks freaky on Andy!!!
Daniel has decided that he really likes to talk on the phone. He always talks to Grandpa no matter who is really on the phone. When the phone rings he yells, "Grandpa, Grandpa!" I think he really likes his Grandpas.

Rainbows and Pansys

It has been a while since I posted last so I am going to try to get caught up. It is the rainy season here in California. We enjoy watching and listening to the rain, but our favorite is when we see rainbows. Bradley loved it, so we had to go get some pictures. About a half hour after the rainbow disappeared Bradley said, "Mom make the wainbow come back." I love that he thinks I can do anything.

The rainbow was so big and so close we couldn't get a picture of the whole thing. As you know I love pansies! I waited as long as I could before I bought some. The boys helped me plant them. It took us a couple hours to turn the dirty in the planter and plant the flowers. We couldn't have done it without the help of Angie's shovel. I really need to get a big shovel. Bradley asks almost every day if we can wash the flowers. I am excited that the bulbs in the flower bed are finally starting to sprout. In a couple weeks I can post more pictures.
