Visiting Florida Part 2

DISNEY WORLD!

Andy had a week of vacation time, so we decided to take the boys to Disney World.  We had to pay up on a bet with our Aunt Katie, so we took her with us.

Here are a few pictures of our adventures!

Swiss Family Robinson  tree house.

Magic Carpet ride.
(We are in the pink on to the left.)

We enjoyed seeing some of our favorite characters.
  Woody and Jessie

Tido and Dad on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

The family with The Beast.

Daniel driving his own car.

Bradley and I followed by Katie.

Chip and Dale joined Stitch on the dance floor with the kids!

The Buzz Lightyear ride was one of our favorites.  The boys loved climbing in with Zurg at the end of the ride.

Daniel was sad that we could get a picture with Buzz.  Ever time we found a character with a short line they would tell us that they were done doing pictures because they were taking a break.

We got to see the Beauty and The Beast show.  It apparently has some significance to Katie. :)

We caught the stunts show.  It was amazing!  Herbie made a guest appearance.

The boys have recently been introduced to Star Wars and they were very sad the ride was closed.

Can you find the hidden Mickey in this picture?
(Katie actually found this nature made Mickey.)

Daniel was stoked that Woody and Buzz were greeting everyone who came into Epcot.

I loved  the landscaping at the parks.

Water fountains are always a big hit with us.

We enjoyed our three days at Disney World.  They were packed with fun rides, delicious food, great shows and even better company.  Aunt Janna was kind enough to keep Eliza for us so we could enjoy the trip more fully.  Thanks Smith Cousins for entertaining Eliza for us!  (Once I get more pictures from Katie I will add more about our adventures to the place where dreams come true on the East Coast!)

Piggy Tails

Eliza's hair is finally long enough to do pig tails!
She definitely has the attitude to go with them too!

I can't believe how big she is getting.  She has hit a growth spurt and has almost skipped right over the 18 month sizes.  Does anyone have a tip on how to stop her from growing up?

Daniel "Piggy" used some of his birthday money to get this awesome motorcycle shirt!

Happy Easter from North Carolina

The Easter Bunny found us even though we were traveling quite a bit before the holiday.

"Check out my goods Daniel."

Cheese...

Saturday afternoon we colored Easter eggs with Eliana, our neighbor.

Eliza supervised with Dad.

Getting ready for our Easter Egg hunt.

Looking for eggs.

Got one!

Yeah!
The kids had fun looking for and eating the candy.

We had a great Easter and hope you all did too!

HAPPY EASTER!

Visiting Florida Part 1

We went to visit our Florida cousins for our Dad's week off.  We had a lot of fun on Sunday hula-hooping and sword fighting...

Eliza snuggled Aunt Katie after nap time.  She didn't want Tido to miss Tyler too much. ")

Dad and Eliza
Need we say more!?

We took a ride out to "Alligator Lake."   We saw four or five alligators.  They weren't very big.  The biggest one was about 6-7 feet.

Andy and Eliza were trying to chase the gator towards us, but it didn't want to swim our way.

As we were leaving we saw this water snake.

We also checked out the citric groves.  The oranges and grapefruit  were delicious!  The kids had fun picking them off the trees too.  I could really get use to this.

Bradley up an orange tree.

Laundry and Gardening

Eliza loves to help with the house hold chores like laundry.

"I helping Mom!"

These are Daniel's sunflowers he grew from seed.  He got them from his primary teachers about a month ago.

When we moved in these bushes were in poor shape, but they are doing pretty good now.  We are really enjoying all the blooms.

OUR GARDEN

These are our peas and beans.  The front two rows are peas and the back two are beans.
The beans are coming up better than the peas.

These are the summer squash.  They are coming along nicely.

Carrots

These are sweet mini peppers.  I planted them from seeds.

I had to replant the cucumbers and the butternut squash.  It the cantaloupe doesn't come in soon then I am going to have to  replant them as well.
