They turned down the throttle so it was only going about 2 miles an hour, but the kids loved it!!

Bradley reminded Grandma about the time we slid down the white thing on the front lawn.  He also told her he hadn't done it for ages!  So we fixed the problem.

Andrea was getting some high lights.

Ben always had too much momentum and slid way off the tarp!
He made a big splash....and has respectfully asked for a longer tarp next year!

Aunt Darcy trying out her new ride...er...the new ride she would like.

Uncle Jake getting ready to head out to California.  Good luck Uncle Jake!

Eliza loved Sheena.  She would sit next to her and say, "Hey Puppy."

Aunt Darc getting ready to do some laundry.

Such a sweet girl.

Monday afternoon we went down to the spillway at Yuba Dam.  It is the fullest I have ever seen it.  There was a lot of water coming out of the top and the bottom of the spillway.

Daniel, Eliza and Bradley

Looking at the water coming out the top.

About nine years ago this section was empty and Jake drove his car through this dip.  Definitely can't do it now!

At the top looking down at the spillway.

Eliza spilled a little water and started cleaning it with a napkin.

She wanted to make sure Uncle Jason saw what a good job she was doing.

Thanks for having lunch with me Uncle Jason!

Tyler and Katie Wilkins

On June 24, 2011 my sister Katie was sealed to Tyler Wilkins in the Manti, UT Temple.  We are so happy to have another awesome uncle in our family.  Welcome to the family Uncle Tyler!!

The kids and I flew in on the 21st and stayed with my Grandma K.  Eliza loved this little baby doll.  I remember playing with this doll when I was a little girl.

Janna and Andrea helping Katie with her hair on her wedding day.

She looks so pretty!

Bradley, Daniel and Eliza hanging out with Josh.  He is one of Katie's home teachers.
Thanks Josh for keeping the kids entertained.

When we were getting ready to go to the temple I found a large tick in Bradley's hair.  It was in really deep.  Aunt Laura and Uncle Jason took over the tick removal so I could finish getting Eliza ready.  It took them almost 10 minutes to get it out!  Bradley was very brave!  We still aren't sure where he picked it up.

Eliza at the temple waiting for Aunt Katie and Uncle Tyler to come out.

Crazy Uncle Jakie!

I think they enjoyed the kissing pictures.

By the end I think they were getting pretty tired.  :)
We were so glad to be able to share in on their special day!!!

Malea played the harp at the reception.  I don't have an pictures of her playing that night, but this is the next day when she played some songs for Grandpa and Grandma M.  Keep up the good work Malea.

Camping at Jordan Lake

We have been wanting to go camping for awhile, but it has been difficult given Andy's schedule.  He has recently started a new rotation that allows him to have a every weekend off with NO CALL!!!

Last weekend we went camping at Jordan Lake.  The first thing we had to do was start a fire.  Andy and the boys built a "log cabin" fire.

"We built a fire!"

We got camp set up.  Notice the bug light hanging from the pole.

"Who me?  I don't know what your talking about."
Once Eliza found the marsh mellows she wouldn't eat anything else!

Bradley did a really good job of roasting marsh mellows.

"I don't have another."

This little frog was over by the water hydrant.  We really enjoyed watching the kids try to catch him.

Daniel is usually too nervous to hold little critters, but he did really good with this frog.

The boys were pretty  crazy at bedtime.
Once we got everyone settled in to bed we watched the bug light.  It was pretty entertaining to see all the little bugs getting zapped.  Bradley noticed a bird flying near the light.  It was flying pretty slow, and at first I thought is might be a bat.  Turns out it was a really big moth!

Andy went to investigate and this is what he found.  Later when we were almost asleep the moth attacked out tent.  He was trying to get in for some reason.

The next morning we had to make another fire even though we didn't use it to cook.  Here the boys are dumping water on it to put it out.  After we cleaned up camp we went down to one of the swimming areas.

Eliza loved the water.  Unfortunately I forgot to pack her swim suite and swim diaper.  She had to wear whatever we could find.   This means that the diaper she was wearing held...

a LOT of water!
Andy assures me that Eliza will hate me in the future for this picture, but I thought is was too funny.

Daniel doesn't like to get his head under the water, so he piggybacked a ride with Dad.

Playing with Dad.

Bradley trying to climb on the tube...

made it!!

Andy and the boys by the pipe surrounding the swim area.

Poor Eliza was so tire!

Who worries about no sleep when there is sand to play in?

Eliza deciding sand isn't the best tasting.

Another "fat bottom girl" picture.  Nice sand pile Bradley.

Daniel is a mad man when it comes to playing in the sand.

We had a lot of fun camping and look forward to many more trips!
