Family Reunion Part 5

July 17, 2014
On Thursday we got Grandma's big water slide out and enjoyed the water.  The kids had a blast.  It was really fun to watch them play with each other.

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Meghan and Noa

Grandma documenting all the fun.  Aunt Malea went down the water slide.  I missed it, but I heard it was really good!

Daniel still had paint around his eyes from his face painting the day before.

Aunt Bethany and Sarah-Jane

Nathan loves to shoot people. He figured Uncle Jakie would be a great target.

He was very proud of himself.

Rorie getting ready for her first trip down the water slide.

She made a big splash.

And jumped out quickly.  She thought the water was cold.

Jessica and Ben trying to decide whether or not to join in.

Noa stole her daddy's chair.

Rorie

Nathan wanted to go, but he was too little to go alone, so Tyler went with him.

Tyler tried to block the stream from the water gun at the bottom.

Nathan loved it and wanted to go again!

Pure delight! Thanks Ty for being such a great cousin!

Eliza tried it once.

After the kids got good and cold on the water slide they switched to water balloon volley ball.

Hayden and Bradley teamed up for part of the time.

Aunt Katie and her family got to Grandma's in time to catch the tail end of the water slide.

Luke was excited to get changed and play in the water.

He had to tease her a little while she changed him.

He thought Amy was the best!

Amy was so kind and rode down with Luke.  He mostly liked it.  The water was a little cold though.

Ethan and Tyler teamed up.

Aunt Andrea and Anna launching a balloon.

Ethan and Tyler caught it!

Jessica and Ben getting ready to send one over.

One...two...three!

Hayden and Daniel getting ready for the catch.

Ben and Jessica getting ready for round two.

Hayden and Daniel

Aunt Andrea and Anna made a great team.

Dad really enjoyed the game! :0)

Nathan just couldn't leave the water gun at the bottom of the slide alone.  There were just too many people to shoot!

Uncle Jake borrowed a swather from the uncles to cut some alf alf for Grandpa.
The kids had to have a ride!

We shuttled the kids back and forth on the four wheeler so they could all get a turn.

Swapping the kids out.

They had a lot of fun.

Uncle Jake, Rorie, Daniel and Angela

The next group was Dallin, Noa and Ben.

Ben was a little bit bigger than some of the other riders.

We really enjoyed seeing everyone at Grandma's house.  It was kind of wild and crowded at times, but it was well worth the trip.  It had been too long since we saw everyone.

We flew home on Friday.  The trip was kind of short, but packed with tons of fun.

We saw the progress on the Payson, UT temple as we passed it on the freeway.  It is a beautiful temple!  Uncle Neldon had been able to do some of the finish work on the temple.  It sounds like it is going to be amazing!

We stopped at Darcy and Brian's apartment on the way to the airport to see their new little boy Rockwell.  They call him Rocky for short.  He is adorable!

Karrie, Rocky and Darcy

Little Rocky looks just like his Daddy.  We were sad to miss Brian since he was at work, but it was fun to see Darcy and visit for a while.  We can't wait to see how quickly this boy grows.

On the way home we flew over the Grand Canyon.
I never cease to be amazed at the grandour of the canyon.

The kids did a great job on the trip.  Everyone was pretty tired, but they all did really well.  It was great to have so much family time!
