The Pumpkin Patch

Our cousins invited us to join them Monday night for an outing to the pumpkin patch in Dixon, CA. It was lots of fun! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

They had a lot of cool wagons.

We didn't go on the hayride, but the kids did have fun climbing on the wagon.

There were fields and fields of pumpkins.
They had a really cool corn bath!

The kids played for a long time in the corn bath.

The kids thought it was lots of fun to put the corn down Angie's back. The good thing about the corn is that it is easier to clean up from than sand.

They took turns burying each others legs.

There were several cool rocking horses.

The kids also loved running threw the straw maze.

Daniel, Dad & Bradley getting buried.

They had go carts you could rent.

This is a cool go-cart with seats for two in front. Then there is room for two people to pedal in the back. They had lots of fun riding around.

There were also little houses in the pumpkin patch.

It was fun to watch the kids run from house to house to see which on they liked the most!

The boys liked to take turns pulling the wagon.
Thanks for inviting us to the pumpkin patch. We had lots of fun!

Aunt Bethany's Visit

Aunt Bethany stayed for a couple of days after we got back from Hawaii. We went on a tour of base, but unfortunately we didn't have our camera with us. We went to the airplane museum and there were some men working on a couple small planes outside. They let the boys go inside and sit in the pilot's seat and play with all the switches. They had lots of fun and we felt bad that we didn't have a camera! The next day we went to the Jelly Belly Factory, the Oakland Temple, Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the beach.

The Jelly Belly Factory:
We always love going on the tour at the Jelly Belly Factory. This time they gave us 3 different sample during the tour. They had also decorated for Halloween. It made for a great photo shoot.

Duck made of jelly bellies.
This is a new mural. We thought it we pretty cool.

Fall decor! The boys loved all the pumpkins.

A side shot of Mommy & Baby Girl!

The Jelly Belly vehicles are always a favorite! Daniel thinks we should get his one!

Bradley thinks this is the one he needs!

"My Car!"

"Muscles."

Oakland, CA Temple:
The new display at the temple is about the early saints in California. The sister missionaries showed the boys how to make pioneer dolls.

Making pioneer dolls.

This was the first time we have been to the temple when there was water in the fountains and the stream. It was really pretty and the boys were tempted to get in!

What do you think are they thinking?

"Muscles!"

Not sure what this pose is, but they are cute!
Pier 39:
We dropped Beth off so that she could see all the seals, and then picked her up in a near by parking lot. The boys were sad they didn't get to see the seals, but they have seen them before.
Seals at the pier.
Golden Gate Bridge:
When we were at the temple it was really clear and we could see clear down to the bridge, but by the time we got there the fog had rolled in. This is the best we could get when we went to the bridge.
Here we go across the bridge.

To The Beach:
We went to Muir Beach. It is just North of the Golden Gate Bridge on Highway 1. Bethany only got a little bit car sick on the windy road. The water was really high this time so we didn't get to climb all over the rocks like usually, but we did see some good waves.

I told the boys to stay out of the water, because it was pretty cold. Daniel got a little too close when a big wave came up. He tried hard to out run it, but his little legs just weren't fast enough!(See video at the end.)

What is it about boys and throwing rocks in the water? They could have stayed all day.

There were a couple of people at the beach with dogs. One was digging for something, and it inspired these last pictures!

You really only need to watch the first 20-25 sec.
