The Last Hurrah!

Grandpa opening his present. He got a new camping stove. It is a brick oven that can hold one pot. It will go with their 72 hour kits.

Home again, home again...

On our way out of town we stopped by Grandma Marvin's one more time to visit and have lunch. The boys love Grandpa Marvin's baby goats. There isn't much cuter than a baby goat.

We drove half way and spent the night in a hotel on the way to and from Utah. On the way home our neighbors were extremely drunk and argued half the night. We were all sick and tired the next morning! Thanks Dad for the lovely picture to remind us of the whole thing!
We had a lot of fun in Utah running from one party to the next. Since we have been home for almost a week we have almost caught back up on our rest. We loved seeing all of you and hope you are all doing well. See you all again soon!

A Baby Blessing & The Planetarium

We were lucky enough to go to my sister's baby blessing for her fourth little boy. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the little Man of the hour, but we did get pictures of our favorite cousins named Abby.

Eliza, Abby and Aunt Mary

Abby & Bradley

Abby is such a cutie, we wish we could steal her and keep her for ever!
Planetarium:
One day we went to the Planetarium in Salt Lake City, UT. The boys loved riding the Tracks in Salt Lake.
Daniel and Grandma with Andrew and Taylor behind them.
It was quite the adventure trying to get on and off with seven kids. They don't stop long at each stop. We almost got closed in the doors a couple of times. Great fun!

Bradley with Caden, Aunt Janna, and Abby in the background.

Here is Taylor, Andrew, Eliza, Daniel and Bradley at the Joseph Smith Building for lunch before going to the planetarium.

Bradley and Daniel at the pendulum

This was so cool! There were balls rolling, spinning, dropping, etc...
It was amazing! Daniel and Abby thought so too.

Caden and Bradley watching the balls travelling all over.

Daniel and Abby were checking to see what their weight would be on another planet.

Bradley trying his hand at being a weather man!

Bradley was a little lost on Mars

Daniel came to help him look for a way off Mars.

They were only slightly less lost on the Moon.

Daniel was exhausted after our day out. I love how he just passes out!

Work & Play at Grandma's all day...

We had lots of fun playing with cousins and working with our Dad and Grandpa. Kaleb is our newest cousin. He had an accident and needed another outfit so Eliza agreed to share with him.

Kaleb was so cute in the PJs that we decided he needed a bow to go with it.
His brother and dad didn't think it was as cute as we thought it was.

Eliza was so intrigued with Kaleb. She just studied his little face.

Daniel and Daddy mowing the dead winter grass.
The yard looked great when they were done.

The kids loved the trampoline and the sandbox. We did have a little trauma with the sandbox. Fortunately there was no permanent damage to the eyes.

Daniel was a great supervisor for his Dad and Grandpa.

My Dad designed and built this log splitter. They had a lot of "fun" splitting the logs.
They got a lot done!

They had a pretty good sized pile when they got done.
Thanks Dad for letting the boys help out!!

Happy Happy Birthday Grandpa Dear!

Part of the reason we went to Utah was to celebrate my Dad's birthday. The other reason was to let my family meet Eliza. We had a luncheon for my Dad at the church building after doing sealings at the Manti Temple for some family names.

Eliza with our favorite Uncle Neldon

A woman named Kaye Pettit made this cake for my dad. All the fixtures are eatable.
The grand kids loved eating the fish and the cattails.
It was a super tasty carrot cake!

Friends and family mingling and visiting before lunch.

Andrea, Malea & Katie getting ready to sing on helium.

Some of the girls giggled too much to actually sing.

To Utah or Bust...

Coming over the Sierra Nevada's we got to see some snow. When Eliza was hungry we pulled over and the boys decided to play in the snow a little.

It was a beautiful day!

Too much fun for the car!

We Made It...
Our first stop in Utah was to see Grandma Marvin. She had been in the hospital for about 10-12 days. We were excited to see her. She was the first Grandparent to meet her.
We love you Grandma!

Grandma Kenison we very happy to meet Eliza too!
