Let It Snow...

We had our first snow fall the first week in December.  The kids were super excited since this was their first snow fall ever!

This picture is actually Daniel and Eliza watching the squirrel eating our bird food.

Bradley bundled up first thing and headed our to enjoy the snow!

Bradley trying to catch a snow flake on his tonge.

Bradley and Daniel kept scooping up as much snow as possible to have s snowball fight.  Daniel winding up to hit Bradley.

Bradley getting revenge!

This is Sarah, one of our neighbors, and her snowman.  It was much bigger than ours.

The boys taking turns sledding with Elliana.

Bradley assured me that we need to get a sled.

Eliza enjoyed the snow too.  She didn't even mind that it was freezing!

Bradley and Andy had a pretty good snowball fight.  It is amazing how far and accurate Bradley can throw.  The snow was mostly gone the next day, but we look forward to more adventures in the snow.

Happy Thanksgiving

Janna & Scott drove in early on Wednesday morning.  Around 1 am!  After some sleep and  breakfast we went to the park with the kids to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

Eliza loved the little tunnel.  She liked playing peek-a-boo through the holes.

Daniel loves having a little attention too.

Bradley the monkey.

Abby pushing Eliza.  Eliza doesn't like the swing no matter who is pushing her.

Abby and Daniel swinging in unison.

Caden and Janna loving the sun.

Later in the day we played in the leaves.

Owen our newest neighbor.

Eliza had just woken up from a nap and wasn't happy about waking in a dark closet.  Then she wasn't happy about all the fall leaves.

Jenny makin' pie

The Thanksgiving dinner making crew, and Eliza and Bradley.
Janna made five different kinds of pie, two kinds of rolls, cranberry stuffing and sweet potatoes.
Jenny did the turkey, the gravy and helped with the sweet potatoes and veggie tray.
I did the mashed potatoes and the supervising.

Aunt Jenny put Abby to sleep.  What a great Auntie!

Jenny and Eliza eating popcorn while we did karaoke.
(Janna I need the karaoke pictures!)

The kids watching Scooby Doo.  It is amazing how many times we watched that.

Andrew and Taylor playing chess.

Jenny making a Thanksgiving book.
The lovely flowers were compliments of Jenny as well!

Janna making bows
Eliza and Abby have some cute new bows as a result of this party!

This was early Saturday morning before everyone left.

This is the "four headed man" on our couch.  Really more like three headed man with one girl head.  :)

We loved having everyone here and the time went by too quickly.  We can't wait to do it again!!

Finally Fall!

This is the first really fall I have enjoyed since moving Utah about 6 years ago.  Northern California had some beautiful fall colors, but nothing like fall colors here.

Since a raccoon got our first bird feeder and bit it to pieces, and we do like to watch the birds and squirrels, we decided to get another feeder.  We got this one at a yard sale for $1!  We have gotten a lot of entertainment for that $1.

We hung the feed a little higher this time in hopes that the raccoon wouldn't get it.  Once the squirrels realized the free food was back they quickly started looking for the best way to access it.

FALL COLORS

These are some of the fall colors around our neighborhood.

Trees at the end of the street.

In the school parking lot...

in the car line.

More around the neighborhood.

These next ones are from off our back porch.

From my bedroom window.

We have enjoyed the fall colors since the beginning of October and the colors are finally coming to an end.  We look forward to next years display!
