Every once in a while we have some really cool helicopters and airplanes fly past the house.
I believe this one is a Cobra attack helicopter.
They flew around in the evenings for a few nights. It was really fun to watch them.
The kids loved it!!
I usually run all the boys through when it is time for hair cuts.
Andy got home in time to document Bradley. He was the last in line to get his hair cut.
From this angle he hides my baby belly pretty well. :)
Here is a garden update. (April 29)
After 5 1/2 weeks all the plants have started to come well.
Zucchini squash
Okra
Lima beans and cucumbers
Butternut Squash
Eliza's sun flower
These next ones are at 7 weeks (May 11)
The tomatoes are doing really well. Andy had to thin them and transplant some in more open areas of the garden.
Little zucchini squash are starting to grow.
The okra is getting tall.
The cucumbers had started growing a lot! We had to direct them up.
Baby Butternut Squash are growing!
I finally put up our bird bath. We have been packing it around every since Aunt Shellie's wedding.
I was waiting for the perfect place to use it. I decided now was as good a time as any.
Nathan thought it would be a perfect place for the flowers. I often have fresh flowers floating in the bird bath.
It took a couple weeks, but the birds finally found the bird bath.
Now they come daily to check it out. Mostly it is just the little sparrow that come and enjoy.
Daniel made this cool puppy mask in art class at school.
Looking good Daniel!
This is the toad I found when I was planting Eliza's sunflower. He hides most of the time, but does make an appearance every once in a while. We can hear him "singing" in the evenings out back.
We have a lot of Blue Jays here. They are so pretty. It is just hard to get a picture.
This buy sat on the back fence long enough for me to finally get a picture!
We have a lot of Red Winged Black Birds in the area.
You can't see the red on this ones wings quite as well as some.
I know this one is hard to see, but it is a flamingo that Eliza drew. She did such a good job. She is the resident artist here!
