A trip to Oakland

A couple weeks ago we went down to see the Oakland Temple. It was a little bit foggy that day, but the pictures turned out pretty well. While we were there we saw a sculpture display by Angela Johnson. The exhibit is entitled "The Healing Power of Christ." The exhibit was very beautiful and we are glad we saw it. Here are some pictures from around the temple grounds.

Bradley stopping to smell the flowers.
You have to walk up stairs to get to this balcony garden that surrounds the temple.

These flowers remind me of you Darcy!

I thought this one was very pretty and unique. I am not sure what it is called.

I was having fun taking pictures of the temple from different angles.

This stream starts at the fountain in front of the temple and flows down to the street. The parking is on the right of this picture.

Andy got drafted by a couple in our ward to take some pictures. They were there for a wedding and we just happened to be passing by. We really enjoyed the temple grounds and we were so glad that the elections are over so that we didn't encounter the protesters!

It looks like you're doing well and having lots of fun in CA. I can't believe how big your boys are getting. Daniel is looking more like a little boy and less like a baby.

FYI, the flower you liked is called a bird of paradise. It is a very unique and beautiful flower.

Anyways, it's fun to get an update and to hear how y'all are doing!!!

I love the purple ones! Looks like fun! Oh and I totally saw the cutest piggy bank in Target the other day and immediately thought of you - some things never change :)

I love those birds of paradise flowers. My sister lived in San Diego for a few years and whenever I would visit I would keep my eyes open for those flowers. They're so neat!

Bradley smelling the flowers...so cute! Your boys look so grown up suddenly.
