Andy helped get all our outside lights up the first part of the month.
The finished product. We set the lights up on a remote, so the kids loved taking turns pushing the buttons to turn on the lights.
We also enjoyed the train around the tree.
Eliza enjoying some Christmas oranges.
Eliza has also enjoyed building while the boys were busy somewhere else. She's getting pretty good.
On the 8th we went to a Stake Center in Apex to see some nativities on display. They had some from all around the world. I told the kids to pick their favorite ones and I would let them take a picture. Once we got there every nativity was their favorite!
This one is made of banana fibers.
I thought this one was just too cute!
A corn husk nativity from Slovakia.
This one was just classic. A six year old boy made this in about two hours.
They also had a kids room where the kids could dress up and be part of a nativity. They also got a couple of pennies so they could pay a tax upon entering the room, and still have some left to buy some Christmas stickers. They loved it!
Since the stake center shares a parking lot with the temple we decided to walk around the grounds.
The kids thought it was a little bit cold one morning and I found them all snuggled up watching a quiet movie. That is the good thing about Andy's rotation for the month of December. He could have breakfast with the kids and leave them watching a quiet movie so I could get a little extra sleep.
We also made Christmas goodies for our neighbors. They turned out pretty cute!
Daniel and Eliza...good buddies!
All the Christmas preps must have tuckered her out!
