After horse rides Aunt Laura's family went on an Air Boat ride. All of them loved it and Ethan and Ben thought that they needed to get one. I think I need one too! :0) After that we had dinner and got ready to head to the water hole one last time to play with our Mitchell cousins.
The rope swing was still a favorite!
Daniel swam out in the deep part a couple of times. He is getting more confident in water.
Uncle Scott, Ben and Amy getting ready to do front flips of the floating platform.
Ready...Set...Go!
Ethan stepped on a large shell over by the rope swing and cut his foot pretty good. He was very brave though.
Daniel swam out to the floating platform and climbed on, but then he was too nervous to jump back into the water. He had to wait for Uncle Scott to come and lower him into the water.
Uncle Scott jumping off the high dive.
"Look out below!"
Caden, Ethan and Bradley
It was a rough day for the boys in first grade. Caden nearly got drowned before Janna jumped in and saved him. After that he had to wear a life jacket. Ethan got the large cut on his foot from a shell and Bradley got a sliver in his toe. Eliza supervised them while they took a few minutes to re-cooperate.
Ben jumping off the high dive. He had to keep up with Aunt Janna.
Last but not least, we moved to the platform swings. Uncle Scott was the first to go off the swing.
Uncle Scott helped the younger kids go off the lowest platform. This is Andrew going off the swing.
Eliza just like to play in the water. She could have stayed all day.
Bradley went off the lowest platform too. He thought it was pretty cool, but didn't want to go again.
Uncle Scott
Ethan got to relax on the tube while the kids were doing the platform swing. His mom stuck pretty close to make sure he didn't float out to deep water.
Ben was the only one who went off the highest platform this trip. With enough peer pressure and a need to maintain his manly image, it was possible to get Ben to go beyond his comfort zone! I should mention that with a little peer pressure Laura did go off the lowest platform. She did have to keep up her image. (Apparently that is where Ben gets it.)
Way to go Ben!
Driving back from the water hole we saw some wild hogs out in one of the pastures. They had a couple of really little ones with them. They were so cute! The hogs are a big problem on the ranch since they can tear up the pastures pretty good in one night! However, it was fun to see the babies.
