Second Week

We were lucky enough to get a visit from our Aunt Jenny Marie.  She came from D.C. to meet Nathan and see Aunt Darcy.  Here are more pictures of Nathan's second week.

One of our neighbors gave Nathan this little outfit.  I love it!

Nathan and Aunt Jenny

This is Nathan and Aunt Darcy's favorite spot to snuggle.  Their favorite blanket to snuggle with is the one Aunt Janna made for Nathan.  It is super soft!!  Thanks Aunt Janna!

We took Aunt Jenny and Aunt Darcy to see the Duke Cathedral.  Unfortunitely there was a wedding there, so we weren't able to go inside.  Maybe next time.

Dad, Eliza, Daniel, Aunt Jenny, Bradley and Aunt Darc

It was really hot, so we didn't stay too long before heading back to the van.

On the way back Daniel found a bench with writing on it.  He was telling us the names of the letters and numbers.  Eliza decided she needed a closer look as well.

We found some mist vents and stopped to cool off a little.
They were lots of fun.

Then we headed inside one of the buildings to feed our starving Nathan boy and to get an ice cream to cool off.

We got some awesome BBQ on the way home.  Then we got out the slip n' slide and filled some water balloons.

Eliza enjoyed having the power of running the hose.  She exercised that power a lot!

I think they sprayed each other with the hose more that sliding down the slip n' slide, but they did have a lot of fun.

Sunday after church Eliza layed down for a nap and Dad let her snuggle with Nathan for a minute.  She was so careful not to move and squish him.

Eliza with her new sunglasses.  Aunt Jenny spoils us when she comes to visit.
Thanks Aunt Jenny!  (For the record, I did fix Eliza's hair that day...just later that day.)

Dad snuggling his boy.

I can't say enough good things about Jenny and Darcy.  I don't know where I would be today without these two.  I am so grateful for both of you!

Nathan snuggling with Margaret during our annual cul-de-sac 4th of July firework show.
I think the funnest think is to watch the kids and see their excitement about the fireworks.

Dad and Marek supervised the lighting of most of the fireworks.

We enjoyed visiting with our neighbors and watching the fireworks.  It was a good 4th of July.  HAPPY 4th OF JULY!
