Sunday was the only day we didn't have to run. Church was at 9am and then we had the rest of the day to relax.
Ammon was getting a jump start on the relaxing part!
Nathan playing while everyone was getting ready for church.
While we were getting ready for the sacrament Luke up chucked all over the bench. It was AWESOME! Poor kid. He must have gagged on something because he wasn't sick, but he did loose ALL of his breakfast. Katie and Tyler quickly and as quietly and possible cleaned it up. After the sacrament my parent's Home Teacher, Andrew, ran to his house and got a steam cleaner. After Sacrament Meeting was over he brought it in and did a great job cleaning the bench. He is the best H.T. ever!
After church Laura dissected a couple pomegranates. They were hug...
and very tasty!
Anna, Ethan, Ben and Uncle Jason didn't feel well, so they didn't go to church with us. Anna and Ethan decided to work on a play for us while we were at church. They did the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. It was cute!
Grandma enjoying the play
Classic Tido...
When Daniel saw this picture they asked if it was Andy pretending to be me. Then Bradley asked me if it was me. Apparently Katie and I look a like. :0)
Daniel and the Lion
Amy, Jessica and Anna like to do skits with Aunt Andrea when they come. This time they did a skit with a shoulder angel and devil.
The plot is that Jessica and Andrea are walking and see some delicious donuts in a store window. They are talking about how good they look when the shoulder devil, Anna, jumps on Jessica and tells her to just take them. About that time the shoulder angel, Amy, jumps on to Andrea's shoulder. She tells her that they should pay for the donuts because that would be the right thing to do. It was pretty funny to listen to them talk about what to do and hear the little devil and angel make their comments. I think this is one of my favorite skits they have done!
The cast for the skit!

Nathan sitting on the couch.
Then we gathered around the kitchen table to play "Spot It". It is a super fun game. There were enough people to have two games going at one time. We did have to watch Grandpa carefully though...he cheats!
Ben in his awesome shirt!
Laura was playing us some songs by the Piano Guys. They have some really fun songs.
Anna practising braiding on Aunt Katie
Aunt Mary Lynn made a video of Grandma Kenison and gave it to the heads of each family. They are to make copies and pass it out to their children who would like one. We watched the movie and I learned a little bit more about Grandma. It was fun to hear about her childhood and how she met Grandpa K. He passed away when I was about 10 years old, so I didn't know him as well as my older sisters did. He is the grandpa Daniel is named for.
Nathan thrived on all the attention. Everyone thought he was so adorable! And we hate to brag, but he is! :0)
Aunt Andrea won the battle.
Andrea 1....Ammon out!
Since Monday was my last day in Utah I talked Janna and Katie into taking me sledding behind Tyler's truck. The roads were still snow packed and it had been years since I had been sledding. Janna and I grabbed a coat, some boots, a hat and gloves and headed out in to the snow...in our PJ's!
Janna and Karrie
I was on the big tube holding on to a stick, tied to a rope, hooked to the truck. It was suppose to give me more control over my movement. Every time I tried to move from side to side it would really make me turn backwards. Janna's tube was smaller and attached to the rope.

Katie drove us down to the farm and around Aunt Sheree's house.
Karrie and Janna
As Katie was pulling back onto the road she sped up a little around the corner so that we would swing around behind the truck since there was a car coming. I was on the far side so I went clear across the road and into the ditch. She kept driving with me in the ditch, which wasn't a problem until we came to the part where the Uncles had pushed snow from the drive way into the ditch.
I hit the pile of snow and came to an abrupt stop!
(I think this is were I got the 2 inch bruise on my hip.)
Most of the snow was soft and I kept sinking up to my knees.
After a couple tries I made it out!
Janna and Katie traded places and Janna pulled us home. She drove much faster than Katie did and I felt every little bump in the road! Snow packed roads in reality are not that smooth! I got a couple of small bruises in a couple places I couldn't show.
It was worth it though!
Katie
On the way into the house we stopped long enough to make snow angels.
Karrie, Janna and Katie
Karre
It was actually a little bit difficult to make the snow angels since the top layer of snow had frozen a little.
Katie
Unfortunately my camera batteries were dying and I didn't get a picture of Janna making her snow angel, or a picture of the snow angels when we were done. I did have a great trip down memory lane and remembered why I loved to play in the snow so much as a child. I still miss the snow, but I am glad we didn't get that much in North Carolina. They would have to shut everything down for days!

Yay, for funny faces! I have been called "Karre" several times, we must be related! I love the sledding pictures too!
We must admit that Nathan is pretty darn cute!
