Happy Easter!

We started off our spring break spending Easter weekend with our Dad in Asheville.   Since the boys were going to miss the week of school after spring break they had some homework to do.  Bradley wasn't happy about having to spend part of his vacation doing school work, but he did get it all done.

Daniel got sick during the night before we headed for Asheville, so I made him take a nap when we got to Dad's apartment.  He didn't want to go into his room all alone, so I let him lay in the hall.  He didn't sleep long though.

The Easter Bunny was good to the kids this year.

Eliza and Nathan got camp chairs and new Pj's.

Bradley and Daniel got baseball gloves and a batting tee.

Obviously the carton of Robbin's Eggs was much more exciting!

Each of the kids also got a new Veggie Tales movie.

Eliza loved the critter shaped eggs!

"Let's play ball!"

Nathan enjoyed his chair as long as he was able to "eat" his Easter egg.

He soon decided that Bradley and Daniel had much better loot!
Nathan is scooting on his belly pretty well.  He pivots back and forth and seems to get to where he wants.

That after noon the apartment complex held an Easter Egg hunt.  We were a little bit late for it, so most of the eggs had already been found.  Eliza wasn't too happy about that, but the other kids were really nice to share a few treats.

After the Easter Egg hunt the kids got invited to go hit a pinata.  They were very excited to get more candy!
After that we went with our Dad to meet some people he worked with at a shooting range.

Bradley, Daniel and Eliza watching from the back of the van.  They had to wear hearing and eye protection it they wanted to get out of the van.  They thought it was fun to watch everyone shoot.

Andy and some of the guys waiting for their turn to shoot.

Andy getting a shot off.

Still watching...

Nathan was tired of being held and wanted to move around the van.  He was getting into EVERYTHING!

After each round they had to pick up their shells.  The boys found some magnets on a stick and enjoyed helping pick up the shells.

Waiting for another round of shooting...

Hangin' out by the cans, anxiously waiting for another chance to pick up shells.

Eliza was playing catch with Lady in the van.

Daniel and Bradley watching Dad nail another shot!

It was a fun day full of activities.  I was glad when bedtime finally came.  I was tired!
