Kenison Family Reuion Part 1

July 12-13, 2014

We flew out of Dallas on the 12th to head to Utah.  The flight went well and the kids did good.  Nathan only had a couple minutes on the flight when he was too tired to reason with.  Luckily he fell asleep for a while.

Waiting for our airplane to arrive at the gate.

Nathan and Dad napping on the plane.

Eliza and Bradley

We saw some pretty cool cloud formations on the flight.

Aunt Andrea picked us up at the airport in SLC, UT.  We also found out at the airport that the antibiotic Eliza wasn't going to work and we needed to get it switched.  They sent the new prescription to the Wal-Mart in Payson.  We got there just after it closed!!
On the way to Levan we stopped in Santaquin at my cousin Zac's wedding reception.  It was good to see so many of the Marvin aunts and uncles.

Sunday morning the kids played games and watched a Sunday movie while the adults got ready for church.  There were quite a few grand kids there.

Aunt Laura and Ben working on a fruit salad for lunch.

Tyler and Andrew playing chess in the garage.

Ethan, Hayden, Bradley and Daniel playing Loopin' Louie.
This is a game I played when I was their age.

Janna, Jason, Laura and Scott playing a fun game Janna brought.

Aunt Andrea and Aunt Malea curling Aunt Shellie's hair.

You want some of this?

Amy, Anna and Taylor were the best puzzler makers.

It was nice to visit my home ward and see all the familiar faces.  We took up the first 5 middle rows in the chapel.  We also added 19 kids to the primary and four to young mens and young womens.   After church and lunch we got ready for family pictures.

Poor Eliza was so tired she fell asleep sitting up while I was doing her hair.
She slept on the couch for a few minutes.
Family pictures went pretty well for those without small children.  :0)  There were several small people in tears at the family pictures, but all in all they turned out well. (A post on the family pictures will be coming soon.)

Ammon looking so handsome!

After family pictures we all had homemade ice cream!

Dad was excited to get his hands on some!

I happened to catch this tender moment between Cookie and Neldon.

The Wilkins family making good use of Grandpa's hammock.

Noa sharing with Aunt Malea.

Leia loved her ice cream.

Luke was trying to hide from the camera.  If you couldn't see me, then I couldn't see him.  Right?

We also had a good ladder ball game going.

Ole Glory
The sky was so blue and the breeze was just right.  I have always been moved by our nations flag.

Brett and Andy

Nathan loved his ice cream.

Even if it fell into the grass.

One good looking Daddy!

The handsome, amazing, brilliant, awesome, overlord whom has no ego whatsoever, Andrew! A.K.A, my nephew.  :0)

Aunt Shellie and Uncle Brett

The kids had so much fun jumping on the trampoline together.

We also got to see Aunt Bethany's miniature pony and her baby.

She is so cute and little!

Nathan and Eliza loved the ponies!

Nathan wasn't always as gentle as he could be and the baby kicked him in the leg.  He looked at me and said, "Baby horsie.  Kick me. Hurt."  It was a little bit cute.

Daniel

Then he had to tell his Dad about it.

Amy and Taylor playing a duet with Aunt Laura to accompany them.
It was really pretty.

This is the trailer we stayed in down behind the lilacs.  The other trailer was for the Potters.
They were good neighbors. :0)

Ethan, Jessica and Anna played the bells with Grandma.  They were pretty good.

Abby and Hayden sang a duet.

Sarah Jane kept a close watch on everyone from the front room window.

Luke and Aunt Katie snuggling before bedtime.
It was a great Sunday!

Good times. Cute of Andy and Nathan asleep on the plane. And funny about the baby horse kicking Nathan. :)
