Wednesday we had a trip planned to the dairy. Before they headed out the kids had to help drowned the hornets that were living in the sand under the swings.
Uncle Colton supervised.
Grandpa getting loaded up and ready to head out on his new four wheeler.
Dad road Uncle Neldon's four wheeler.
Bradley, Jessica, Nathan, Angela and Dad
Aunt Meghan, Rorie, Kaleb and Dallin
Uncle Jake was making sure they were ready to go.
The first group heading out.
Sarah-Jane road in the truck with her mom.
The first stop at the dairy was to see the baby calves. They were so cute!!
Uncle Colton was good enough to take my camera with them and document the action.
Sarah-Jane and Anna
Nathan talked Uncle Jake into walking around with him to see the baby cows.
Daniel
Aunt Malea and Kaleb
There were rows and rows of baby calves.
Hayden, Angela and Daniel
Hayden really liked the babies.
Then they moved on to the mama's. I believe these ones actually get milked.
Bradley loved the helmets.
Nathan wanted to climb right on in.
Ben ran all the way from Grandma's house to the dairy.
You can see all the trailers around the yard at Grandma's house in the fields behind Ben.
Uncle Jake remembering the olden days when he used to help the uncles work their cattle.
Loading back up to drive down to the milking barns.
They got a tour of the milking barns and watched as several cows were milked.
Some of the milking equipment.
One of the mama cows.
Heading down to the office.
Sarah-Jane and Aunt Bethany
Inside the office to visit with the men in charge.
Bateman's relocated to Levan while I was in high school. They have been good neighbours and are always open to tours.
Once they returned to Grandma and Grandpa's house they started some chalk art.
Uncle Colton gave rides to all those with the desire.
His legs were burning after the ride. :0)
Aunt Bethany got the pony out and there were pony cart rides for all interested parties.
Some of the artists hard at work.
Nathan tried his hand at chalk art.
He mostly wanted to draw where others were drawing.
Kevin made an appearance.
Rorie working on her horse.
Colton found that it was easier on his back and legs to us the side of the house as a canvas.
Sarah-Jane loved Grandpa's tricycles.
Aunt Malea drew several fun animals for the kids.
Sarah-Jane used herself as the canvas.
She is part of the purple foot tribe.
Abby came to investigate.

Later I was visiting with Grandma and Aunt Laura while snuggling with Nathan. He got really quiet and still. He was so tired he went to sleep!
When we were downstairs we noticed there was water dripping through the ceiling and on to a box. After Grandpa did some investigating he realized it was the dishwasher. The drainage hose needed to be replaced.
This is what Grandpa thought about having to do repairs in a busy kitchen.
Lucky for him he had a great assistant.
Grandpa and Uncle Jason had things fixed in no time.
There was some face painting courtesy of Aunt Malea and Uncle Colton.
Jessica and Anna
Ninja Ethan
Kevin made another appearance.
Aunt Bethany was the last to finish her chalk art. It was amazing! She said she wasn't able to do too much detail because of the chalk she was using. I can't wait to see what she can do with real chalk!
We have some Captain America fans.
This little piggy was just for me. Thanks Aunt Malea!
Aunt Andrea worked on this land scape.
Andy and I worked on this tribute to the U.S.A.F.
We challenged the Navy to a chalk off, but they respectfully declined.
Another Aunt Andrea landscape.
Another look at her handy work.
Everyone had a lot of fun with the face painting.

And I just noticed that that picture of chalk Kevin looks like he is about to grab my bottom...Really? That was the only picture of Kevin that you had??? ;)
