Eliza loves to get her little piggies out and play with them. I have found them in various places. On this morning I found the piggies playing with cars in the toy room.
Nathan has recently been introduced to the show CARS. That is the reason for the line of McQueen cars.

On the 15th my birthday present arrived! I was a surprised because it wasn't suppose to come until my birthday. :) I don't mind since we have been enjoying every day!

When our dad got home he assembled the present.
First two pieces are out!

It's a table!

It gets pretty long with both leave sections in. The leaves can be stored inside the table.
Finally Dad started on the chairs.
We got six chairs and hope to eventually build a bench.
I love my new table!!

Someday we'll have a better-than-free table again. In the meanwhile, we'll dream about yours (and I'm sure I'll hear all about it soon)
I love your table! A bench would be a handy feature. That is what we are planning to add to ours once the need arises. How handy to have a handy dad!
