Bradley's Class Party

June 11, 2014

As school is winding down we had to make sure we said good bye to Mrs. Souchek.  She is the school librarian.  Every since the first week of school four years ago she has been a source of sunshine in our lives.  She would stand out front of the office and say, "Happy Tuesday!" to the kids as they came in for school.  Daniel was 3 1/2 at the time and laughed everyday!  He thought it was so funny that she said "happy Tuesday", or whatever day it was.  She also got a kick out of Daniel and soon she was letting him check his own books out at the school library.  She has been a great support to me over the years as I have had different concerns and questions about Bradley or the school.  By the end Eliza and Nathan were both checking out books under Bradley or Daniel's names.  We will miss seeing her each week and hope she knows how much we all love her!

Nathan joined for a silly group picture.  I had to get after Bradley about the bunny ears.

Nathan checking to make sure Bradley behaved himself.

Later in the day Bradley's class had their End of the Year class party.  They have been working really hard all year and did great on their EOG testing.  We were excited to be able to help them celebrate all their hard work.
We kicked the activities off with Red Rover.
I was amazed at how many had never played!
This side was predominately male.

Bradley, second from the left, ended up on the side dominated by girls.
The girl side ended up winning!

Bradley waiting for someone to come over.

And the girls line held!

Nathan wandered around while the kids played.  It was super hot!  Can you tell?

This is one hot and handsome boy!

After a few rounds the kids got really excited about calling their friends across.  Ms. Cheryl, Clyde's mom, had to help them get a united vote on who to call over.

You may notice the only kids breaking through the line are the girls!
They had a lot of fun, but we ended the game after a couple good take downs.  And by that I mean half the line was taken down when the girls didn't let go!

Eliza and Nathan getting started on the pizza and chips.

Nathan kept saying, "Tasty mama, tasty!"

There happened to be a beautiful cloud moment that I took advantage of.

They were super excited to eat lunch with him.

The kids wanted to do a photo bomb picture...

I am not sure how that works when they were all suppose to be in the picture.?

Eliza ate her cupcake after we got home.  She was getting too hot as a result of the  medication she is taking for her bladder spasms.  We have to be extra careful not to over heat her!
She looks like she will survive though.

Well...maybe!
This is her green frosting go-tee.
