A New House

July 30- Aug. 5, 2014

After a month on the road visiting family in several different states we finally made it to our new home.  The movers arrived the morning of the 30th and unloaded our house hold goods.

A look at our house from the street.
It has four bedrooms and lots of storage space.  I am loving it!!

A look at our fenced in backyard.
It isn't as big as we would like, but it is nice to have a little privacy.

This is a look at the back of the house from the common area behind us.

The kitchen as it is being unpacked.

This is technically the dining room.  Since there is carpet in this area we turned it into the toy room.
When they dumped the boxes of toys out on the floor it was like Christmas again.  The kids were entertained for hours!

While unpacking the kitchen I found some rolls the packers packed.  After a month in storage they looked more like a science project gone bad!

This is the second living area, but since there is tile we put the table in there.

This is the front room.

This is a large toad Andy found while he was out jogging.  He brought it home for the kids to see.  They loved it!  It is the only one we have seen so far.

The toad tried to hide in the rock when we set him free.

The kids moved him over to the flower bed.  He was able to blend in a little better there.

One of the things we had to take care of right away was dad's BBQ grill.  He got a coupon for Father's Day for one, but wasn't allowed to us it until we moved. :0)

He had some good helpers as he put it together!

One helper required a lot of supervision.
I bet you can't guess which one.

"I help my Dad."

Why would the packers pack your rolls?! Who does that?!

Did you kiss that big toad?

Cool grill though! I think I would like to see Andy trying it out for myself... :)
