We went to San Fransisco on Saturday, April 11, but all the tickets to Alcatraz were sold out, so we decided to walk around San Fransisco and see a few sites.
All of the flowers were in bloom. They were beautiful.

We walked up a ton of stairs to get to Coit Tower. It over looks the Bay. It is also called Pioneer Park I believe.

There are people who live back in here. They have to be in good shape to get to their homes. They have to reach them by climbing the stairs.

The stairs have street names too. Here we found Darrel Street!

You can see Alcatraz in the background.

This is a statue of Columbus in front of Coit Tower.

I loved how many sail boats were out on the bay. The boys loved them too!

This is looking towards town. There is a road on the right side that curls back and forth down the hill. It is called Lombard street. This is one of the steepest hills in the country. They had to make it a down hill only because so many cars had trouble going up.

Another look at Lombard street.

Best buds!

This is the gang walking down a side walk. I can't believe how steep some of the streets are. I am so glad I don't live there.

This is a barge getting ready to go under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Going under the bridge.
To The Beach Okay:

The weather was nice for all the walking we did in San Fransisco, but is was a little bit cool for the beach. The wind was blowing pretty hard.

Grandma & Malea held down the fort for us.

Malea thought this was too cold to get in any farther.

Andrea thought she was brave enough to try getting in the water.

The boys thought they needed to get into the water as well.

When we changed Daniel into some shorts he realized there was food by the blanket and didn't really want to get in the water after that.

Andy and Andrea both changed and went out. They weren't even quite waist deep until the waves came!

Some of the waves splashed them pretty good! They were very cold!!

Bradley was playing near the water, but when it would come in he would run back up the beach so he wouldn't get too wet...

until he tripped and fell. Luckily we had another pair of pants and another sweat shirt.

After that he stayed back a way from the water. He still enjoyed throwing rocks in.

Daddy and Daniel trying to get warm and eat! It was a very clear day to be a the beach. Everyone had lots of fun and only a few people froze.

I pick food over water anyday! :) The beach is so fun and so pretty. It's too bad you had so much wind.
How fun. I'm kind of jealous you live by all of that!! I, sadly enough, hadn't put two and two together that you guys lived there, or we could have met up! Your boys are getting so big!!!!
