Last week when Daniel was suppose to be taking a Sunday nap he spotted a turtle in the yard from the upstairs window. He and Eliza let Andy know and he went out and caught it. It is a box turtle. This is the first turtle of the season to be spotted in our yard. We are hoping so see many more!

The kids loved it!
The turtle spent a little time in the tube while it was waiting for nap time to be over. The kids had a hard time sleeping because they knew he was in there.
After nap time we let him go on the deck. He stuck really close to the back door until we left on a walk. Then he booked it out of there. We haven't seen him since, but we are keeping an eye open for another visit.
