We had our first pack meeting for scouts here in Biloxi, MS. We met at the marina park for some games, hot dogs, and awards. They welcomed all the new scouts and gave awards to those who earned things over the summer.
This is Ben Wright painting a Wolf paw on his son Santiago's face as he is entering cub scouts.
Each color represents an aspect of scouts.
(I just can't remember exactly what since it's been a while.)
Bradley and Daniel are in their swim suits on the left side of the picture.
They couldn't wait to eat and then play.
It has been great to get to know the other scouts and their parents. It has also been great to have our Dad with us as we participate in these sort of things! :0)
On Aug. 28, 2014 Eliza started preschool.
We are doing a coop. with some ladies in our neighborhood. There are six girls from the ages of 3 to 5 participating. They meet from 9-11 every Tuesday and Thursday.
Nathan misses her when she goes. He is always excited to see her again after preschool.
(WARNING: The following pictures might be slightly graphic to the faint of hear.)
It has been almost impossible to keep Nathan inside. He has learned how to open the front door even when it is locked. Luckily we live in a safe relatively quiet neighborhood. Usually when he escapes he does it without shoes. The toe he smashed a year ago has healed, but the nail is shorter on it, so it doesn't protect the toe as well. Nathan is constantly scraping the tip of that toe because he won't wear his shoes.
Then he leaves tracks on my floor! Poor kid.
We had to put a band aide on a couple times to give his toe a chance to heal. He wasn't very good about leaving it on.

Haha love that you use the harness on that kid! He is a little mischievous!
Oh Nathan! You definitely give your mom a run for her money! That co-op for preschool sounds pretty cool even if it takes Nathan's sister away. It looks like she enjoys it. I have a while new respect for pack meetings now. . .
