Andy and the boys have been wanting to go camping again for a long time. Since I am getting up at least twice a night to use the bathroom I wasn't as excited about going somewhere, so we settled on putting up the tent in the backyard. The kids were super excited! We had hot dogs for dinner and made s'mores on the deck.

The kids loved the fire! I know you are all concerned because it is clearly on our new deck, but we did keep a very close eye on it. We also kept the deck around the fire pit wet.
I found some huge marshmellows and thought we would try them. They were a big hit!
We only needed one marshmellow for a smore.

We moved the fire pit off the deck before we went in to bed. The kids were sad to have to go to bed, but the were excited to sleep in the tent with Dad.
The boys made it the whole night in the tent. Andy had to bring Eliza in around 2:30am because she was too cold and she kept crying that she wanted Mom. When she woke up in the morning she cried because she wasn't in the tent. Poor girl!
