Daniel Kindergarten Commencement

On June 3, 2013 Daniel had his kindergarten commencement ceremony.  Bradley's teacher let him come down to the gym so he could watch.

All of the kindergarten classes said the pledge of allegiance and sang some songs.

He didn't get into the motions as much as some of the other kids did.  Later he told me he was really nervous up in front of "all those people!"  I didn't realize how nervous he was until he was singing with his class in their room to the parents.

After the ceremony we went back to Daniel's class to have pizza and see them get their certificates.

Mrs. Mahdi is the teachers aid that has worked with Daniel's class all year.  She read them "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss.

This is their class pet, Pete.  He is a teddy bear hamster.

After lunch the kids went outside to play.  This was probably Daniel's favorite part of the day.

We also had some cake.

These are a couple of the songs they sang for their program.  They are using glow sticks for the firework song.  Daniel is getting so big and we are very proud of him and his hard work this year.
